PRO

Dermaplaning immediately rejuvenates the skin by removing the outer most layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair.

A highly effective treatment in minimizing fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars, leaving the skin smooth, supple and vibrant.

It’s great for prepping the skin as a standalone treatment or prior to any facial or peel treatment. Dermaplaning increases the skins ability to absorb active ingedients.

Dermaplaning faq’s

How does it work?

Dermaplaning uses a special sterile surgical blade to perform a deep exfoliation.

Once the skin is prepped, the edge of the scalpel is used at a 45° angle to gentle scrape the build-up of dead skin cells, dirt and oils in around the skin and vellus hair.

What areas can be treated?

Dermaplaning is performed on the face only.

Who can be treated?

Dermaplaning is for all skin types except those with active acne and men with heavy facial hair.

A great treatment if you are pregnant or breast feeding and want exfoliation without the use of chemicals.

How often should I have Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning removes around 3 weeks worth of dead skin cells and therefore the skin needs to complete its normal cycle of approximately 30 days before repeating the treatments.

Will the hair grow back thicker?

No. This is physiologically impossible as Dermaplaning only removes the top layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair, and does not affect the hair follicle.

The soft fine vellus hair will grow back slowly, usually in about 4 weeks.

Is Dermaplaning safe?

Its extremely safe when performed by a professionally trained technician.
